Since day one at TA1, battery health has been a non-negotiable part of our quality process. Every Mac we sell goes through a 36-point inspection, and the battery is one of the first things we check. Up until now, every machine has shipped with a minimum 85% battery health — our baseline for genuine, all-day reliability.
Starting this week, we're giving you a choice. You can now select between our standard 85%+ battery health or upgrade to 100% battery health when you buy any Mac from our store.
Battery Health Comparison
What's the difference?
| Standard — 85%+ | Maximum — 100% NEW |
|---|---|
| ✓ Our trusted baseline | ✓ Brand-new battery capacity |
| ✓ Reliable everyday performance | ✓ Maximum cycle life remaining |
| ✓ Best value for money | ✓ Perfect for heavy, all-day use |
| ✓ Full warranty included | ✓ Full warranty included |
Why 85%+ is already great
Let's be clear — an 85%+ battery is a genuinely good battery. For the majority of users, you won't notice a meaningful difference from new in day-to-day use. It's the sweet spot where quality meets value, and it's remained our standard for good reason. If you're browsing the web, working in documents, video calling, or streaming, an 85%+ battery will comfortably carry you through a full working day.
Who should choose 100%?
The 100% option is there for people who want absolute peak capacity. Maybe you're a creative professional running demanding apps like Final Cut or Logic away from a desk. Maybe you travel constantly and need every minute of battery life you can get. Or maybe you just like the peace of mind of knowing the battery is at its maximum. Whatever the reason, the option is now yours.
Everything else stays the same
Whichever tier you pick, you're getting the same TA1 experience. Every Mac still goes through our full 36-point inspection. Every Mac still comes with our warranty and returns policy. And I'm still here to answer your questions before, during, and after the sale. The only thing that changes is the battery — everything else is the standard you already know.
