Our Grading, Explained
All machines are excellent internally — even our Fair condition machines, which show heavier cosmetic wear, are an affordable and very safe buy as long as you're not fussy on cosmetics. Every Mac passes our thorough internal testing routines and, as an extra step, Apple Diagnostics too.
🌟 Premium — Like New Condition. No visible scratches, dents, or marks anywhere — lid, palmrest, or screen. The only grade where we guarantee the original Apple battery. (Imagine someone bought this machine, barely took it out of the box, and looked after it impeccably.)
✨ Excellent Condition. May have one or two very faint hairline scratches, only visible under direct light — nothing visible after 30cm. Screen is clean with no marks. (Imagine someone bought this machine and used it carefully for less than a month.)
👍 Good Condition. Light signs of use — a couple of small scratches or scuffs on the casing visible after 30cm, but no dents. Any screen marks are invisible when the display is on. (Imagine someone bought this machine and used it for a couple of months.)
🛠 Fair Condition. Noticeable scratches, scuffs, or light dents on the casing. The screen meets the same standard as Good — any marks disappear when the display is on. (Imagine a student bought this machine and used it daily for a year or so.)
🏷 With Marks — our "Ugly" range. Graded exactly as above, capped at Excellent, with one honest difference: the casing carries sticker shadows or old asset-tag residue. Priced lower to match. (Imagine an office machine that wore its company asset tag for a few years.)
All machines, regardless of grading, are excellent internally and come with a 12-month warranty and a 30-day return window. Unless stated otherwise on the individual listing, every battery is guaranteed to have no more than 400 cycles and greater than 85% health. The grade tells you what it looks like — never how it performs.
