Comprehensive Quickfurb Windows Check
Every Windows laptop we sell goes through Quickfurb, our own bench check, before it is listed. You get a fresh, genuinely activated Windows 11 Pro, no locks left over from a previous owner, and the drive, battery and security hardware checked and recorded against the serial number.
It arrives sealed, so the first boot is the normal out-of-box setup: ready for your Autopilot profile, or simply ready to use.

Pre-2022 vPro laptops are Enterprise. The two tier names arrived with 12th-generation Intel Core. Earlier vPro chips, such as the 11th-generation i5-1145G7 and i7-1185G7, carry the full Active Management Technology set, so we show them as vPro Enterprise.

Warranty repairs in 2 business days
For return-to-base warranty repairs we aim to resolve the fault within 2 business days and reship on next-working-day delivery.
Dropped or liquid-damaged? Still repaired
Even if a device has been dropped or liquid-damaged by one of your users, we carry out the repair ourselves and bill you only for materials, if any are needed, and shipping.
No repair centres, no surprise bills
You never send a device off to a repair site or face an inflated quote. Box it up, message us, and we take it from there.

Common questions
Will these enrol in Intune or Windows Autopilot?
Yes. Each unit ships sealed, so the first boot is the Windows out-of-box experience, exactly where Autopilot, Intune enrolment or a provisioning package takes over. Before sealing we check that the device is not registered to another organisation's Autopilot and is not joined to another tenant, MDM or domain.
Could a unit still be registered to a previous owner's tenant?
We ask Microsoft, per unit, whether the serial is registered with Autopilot, and we check for Entra ID, MDM and domain joins and for an active Absolute (Computrace) agent. A unit only passes when all of those come back clear, and the result is recorded against its serial number.
Is Windows 11 Pro genuine?
Yes. These business machines carry an OEM digital licence for Windows Pro in firmware. We install Windows 11 Pro clean, confirm it activates as the Professional edition on that licence, and record it.
Do I get a VAT invoice?
Yes. Every order comes with a full VAT invoice from TA1 Renewed LTD showing the VAT as its own line, so a VAT-registered business reclaims it. We don't sell under the margin scheme. How our VAT invoices work.
What does the warranty cover for a business?
Graded laptops carry a 12-month return-to-base hardware warranty and 14-day returns, the same as every refurbished machine we sell. Delivery and returns.
Do they dock?
Every model in this collection has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, so a single USB-C or Thunderbolt dock carries power, displays and peripherals. The Latitude 5420 and 5450 also have built-in Gigabit Ethernet; the Latitude 9430 and ThinkPad X1 Carbon use the dock or an adapter for wired networking.
vPro Enterprise or vPro Essentials?
vPro Enterprise includes the full Active Management Technology set, including remote keyboard, video and mouse control. Each product page states the tier where we have confirmed it; where it says only vPro, check the processor model against Intel's specifications for your use.
Which have a smart card reader?
Smart card readers vary by build, not by model. Where a unit has one it is listed under Features on the listing. If you need it, say so on the quote form.
Are the keyboards UK layout?
The keyboard layout is stated in each listing's Features line (UK or US). Check it before you order, or tell us the layout you need on the quote form.
