This Mac also comes with a higher spec storage upgrade with 256GB of discrete Solid-State SSD Storage. This allows read & write speeds of up to 1.4Gbps and 850Mb/s compared to the feeble speeds of just 80 to 120 MB/s on the standard Hard-Drive / Fusion Drive specification. This is why some people complain they run slowly as the standard Hard Drives are known to fail around this time (we upgrade them to SSDs like this iMac has for approx £140 in our shop) so it's something that you won't have to worry about.
