Pick your Generation

Whichever you pick, rest assured: every Mac here is fully tested, honestly graded, 85%+ battery guaranteed and covered by a 12-month warranty — and all of them run the latest macOS Tahoe.

The honest answer

14” or 16” ?

Pick the 14-inch if it travels with you — the same chips and the same ports as the 16” at 1.6kg, small enough for any bag.

Pick the 16-inch if it mostly lives on a desk — the biggest MacBook screen and the 100Wh battery, the largest you can legally fly with.

Everything else is identical per generation: Liquid Retina XDR at 120Hz, HDMI, SD slot, MagSafe 3 and studio mics. The 16” simply runs cooler and quieter under sustained load.

Common Questions

Which 14” generation should I buy?

The M1 Pro (2021) is the value pick — it still handles serious 4K work without breaking a sweat. Step to M2/M3 generations for Wi-Fi 6E and newer GPUs, and to a Max chip when you grade, render or run large local AI models.

Pro vs Max — what's the difference?

The Pro chips are the sweet spot for most pro work — editing, development, big Lightroom catalogues. The Max chips roughly double the graphics and memory bandwidth, take far more memory, and drive four external displays instead of two — worth it for heavy 3D, colour grading and local AI.

Is a refurbished 14” Pro still worth it in 2026?

Very much — this chassis is still Apple's current design language: Liquid Retina XDR at 120Hz, HDMI, SD slot, MagSafe 3 and studio mics. Every generation here runs the latest macOS 26 Tahoe, and at refurbished prices the 2021–2023 models are the best value pro Macs we sell.

How long does the battery last?

The 14” carries a 70Wh battery rated at 17–18 hours of video depending on generation, and fast-charges over MagSafe 3. Every TA1 Mac is guaranteed at 85%+ battery health with under 400 charge cycles.

What's the difference between Fair, Good and Excellent?

Purely cosmetic — every Mac is fully tested and works perfectly regardless of grade. Fair has noticeable scratches or light dents (our best value), Good shows light signs of use, and Excellent looks like new. See our grading guide with photos.
